Fr. Przemyslaw J. Nowak Pilgrimages

Father Przemyslaw J. Nowak is a priest of the Diocese of Paterson, New Jersey. He was ordained by Bishop Arthur J. Serratelli on May 25, 2013 and was assigned to serve at Assumption Parish in Morristown for 4 years. He is serving currently as parochial vicar in Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Boonton and Saints Cyril and Methodius in Boonton. Father Nowak was born in Poddebice, Poland. Fr. Przemek's family remains in Poland. He came to the United States to respond to the need for priests in this country. He has been in the United States for eight years and speaks English fluently. He has always wanted to be a priest and to serve the holy people of God. Fr. Przemek attended Nicholas Copernicus University in Poland and St. Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, Michigan, where he earned his Masters of Divinity. He also earned an M.A. in Theology from The College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown. During his formation, Fr. Przemek worked with disabled individuals, in youth ministry and volunteered at the Missionaries of Charity in Detroit. Since his ordination, he has gone on two mission trips to Cap-Haitian, Haiti, and went to Guatemala with Houses to Homes to help build a house for a local family. Fr. Przemek has been Spiritual Director for pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Rome, to Turin and all Italian Shrines, and to Poland and Mexico. In his free time, Fr Przemek likes to bike, run, work out at CrossFit and be a Spiritual Director. Father Nowak believes "What we have learned, and what we have seen, is ours - and is alive within us." It is this love of life that motivates him to continue to learn, travel and serve the Church and the USA. His favorite Saints are: St. John Maria Vianney, St. Faustina, and St. John Paul II.
