Alexandria · Mount Vernon · Saint Mary's City · St Francis Xavier Church · Coltons Point · Port Tobacco · Bowie (Sacred Heart Church/White Marsh Manor) · Annapolis · Baltimore · Washington DC

If you desire to see the places where the faith first became established in the American colonies, join us on this visit to Maryland and Virginia. You will be renewed with opportunities to pray and reflect, as we visit the sites where the earliest settlers of the Catholic colony, Maryland, came ashore, offered Mass, and set up a home in the New World. We have so much Catholic history in the United States, and this is the cradle of the American Church - Baltimore, the first diocese, George Washington's home (where he may well have become Catholic on his deathbed), and sites in Maryland where the Carrolls, especially John and Charles, did so much to establish the Church in the new nation. Enjoy the natural beauty of the region, and let yourself see the Church in America in a new way: as the work of great men and women, who called Baltimore and southern Maryland their home.
