Dear Fellow Pilgrims,

Thank you so much for coming to Medjugorje in answer to Our Lady's call, and thank you for coming with my group. I am looking forward to greeting each of you and spending time together. My dear friends, I am asking you for a special favor. When you come to Medjugorje, please take time to bring a few items for the poor, desperate refugees from around the Medjugorje area, who continue to suffer from the loss of normal living because of the war that raged there for three and a half years. Hundreds of thousands remain homeless and without hope. Each pilgrimage that I lead to Medjugorje becomes an opportunity to assist these brothers and sisters in Christ. Can you please bring some little things, such as socks, underwear, toiletries and other items of everyday use that we take for granted. Just a short trip to Wal-Mart or Kmart or a similar store will allow them to have a little more normalcy in their lives. Hopefully, we will be able to go to a refugee camp to deliver these goods in person. This also allows us to just spend time with them and let them know we truly care. As has been the case so many times, it becomes the highlight of our pilgrimage. It is an opportunity to be like Jesus, and to see them as Jesus.

God bless you and thank you in advance for your assistance. My prayers are with all of you as you come to Medjugorje in answer to Our Lady's call.

In Christ,
