The village of Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the holy site where Our Lady began appearing to six young teenagers on June 25, 1981. The Blessed Mother first appeared on Mount Podbrdo, now known as Apparition Hill, located in the village of Bijakovići. She brought messages of peace for the world through conversion of heart. Known as the “confessional of the world” and described as “Heaven on Earth”, Medjugorje has called millions of pilgrims from all over the world to spiritual conversion; they have returned home forever changed.
Medjugorje was the inspiration for the foundation of 206 Tours, and we have been sending Pilgrims there since 1985.
In 2018, Pope Francis appointed an “Apostolic Visitor” to Medjugorje and on May 13, 2019, the Holy See officially announced that Dioceses and Parishes throughout the world are now authorized to organize Pilgrimages to Medjugorje. To date, over 40 million people have visited this pilgrimage site.
Visit Poland, the beloved homeland of St. John Paul II, Poland. On this journey, we follow in the footsteps of three great Polish saints - St. John Paul, St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy - as we embrace the culture of the Polish people. We entrust our pilgrims and journeys to the maternal protection of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
As you make your way to Poland, Land of Kings, Saints, and Divine Mercy, walk in the footsteps of Saint John Paul II! From where he was born and baptized, to where he became a Priest - Bishop - Cardinal, and where he spent his time visiting as Pope. Take in the Shrine of Divine Mercy (in Lagiewniki) and be drawn closer to the life of St. Faustina and her Divine Mercy message. One of the most obvious works of mercy, and perhaps the most difficult to put into practice, is to forgive others.
