Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1 - Depart USA
Depart from New York's JFK airport on your overnight flights to Turkey.
Day 2 - Arrive Istanbul
Upon arrival you will met at the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will be introduced to your guide and fellow travelers. Afternoon is at leisure.
Day 3 - Istanbul
Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment.
Day 4 - Istanbul - Gallipoli - Dardanelles - Canakkale
Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove and Lone pine cemetery then across the Dardanelles to Canakkale for overnight .
Day 5 - Cankkale - Troy - Pergamum - Kusadasi
Visit Troy with its famous wooden horse, tour Pergamum and continue on to Kusadasi for overnight.
Day 6 - Excursion to Ephesus & Mary's House
Tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s cottage. Afternoon Optional : tour of Sardis or Sirince
Day 7 - Kusadasi - Aphoridisias - Pamukkale
Drive through fertile valley’s to Aphrodisias city of Aphrodite, then continue to Pamukkale (white lime cascades).
Day 8 - Pamukkale - Antalya
Morning visit Hierapolis and continue to Antalya, arrival at mid-noon, a relax afternoon by the Mediterranean cost .
Day 9 - Excurstion to Perge & Aspendos
Half day tour to the ancient cities of Perge and Aspendos.
Day 10 - Antalya – Konya – Cappadocia
After breakfast depart for Konya. Visit Mevlana Mausoleum and Karatay Koran School, then overnight in Cappadocia. Tonight Optional: Whirling Dervishes performance in a 13th century Caravan inn.
Early Morning Optional: Balloon Tour. Experience of floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sunrise of Cappadocia. After breakfast, visit Goreme, Avanos, Pasabagi, Red Valley, Ozkonak underground city.
Morning departure for Ankara on the way visit 13th century Agzikarahan caravansary, afternoon tour of the Ataturk Mausoleum and Anatolian Civilizations Museum.
Morning depart for Bursa and visit: Green Ottoman Complex, opportunity for Turkish bath in the hotel’s outstanding facilities.
After breakfast cross the Marmara sea to Istanbul.
Afternoon Optional: half day Bosphorus Cruise, including last minute shopping in the Spice Market. Tonight farewell dinner.
Day 15 - Istanbul - USA
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flights home.
