On June 25th it will be 32 years that the Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing daily in Medjugorje to 3 of the original 6 visionaries. Father Peter Kaczmarek and I plan to go to Medjugorje to celebrate this special Anniversary and take part in the days of prayer before the actual day and to begin the 33rd year of daily visitations. Therefore, we will be leaving New York on June 19th. The days prior to the Anniversary will give us time to become familiar with Medjugorje, enter into the prayer schedule, and to catch up on all that has been taking place these past years. Those who are able will climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, and we who are not able to will pray at the bottom of the hills. We will also be able to attend the visionary Ivan's private Apparition with his prayers group, to visit with the other visionaries who may be available, to visit the drug rehabilitation center and to see and do the many other things available to us. There is never enough time.
So, why is all this happening now in our world? Well, look at the state of the world! It is anything but what God would want. We all know that the Father sent Jesus into our world to make known His plan for salvation. The mission of Jesus was to live the plan of the Father in love and in peace, to be in good relationships with all people, and to pass this way of life on to us. For 33 years he was with us living out this plan by his teaching, healing, and dying for us to show us the way and the means, "to do as he did," and to lead us on the path of peace. Obviously, we have lost sight of this way of life. And now, for almost 32 years, the Blessed Mother has been in our world to remind and teach us through the visionaries this same message, "to do as Jesus did." Is It possible that the Blessed Mother will be in our world longer than Jesus was- 33 years?
In the beginning of the Apparitions, the Blessed Mother reminded us that God exists and to lead and guide the world on a path to peace and back to God. To do this she started giving weekly messages that, if lived and carried out, would bring about a personal conversion and eventually lead the world on a path to peace and back to God. Her messages also contains 10 secrets that were to be revealed to the world when the Blessed Mother says that it is time. Some of the secrets have to do with events that were to take place in the world. One of the secrets is a permanent sign to be left on Apparition Hill, at the site where she first appeared. This sign would show the world that she has been appearing with the intent to help us and get us on the right track. Don't you sometimes wonder why, that after almost 32 years, we are not trying harder to do what she has been asking of us? Up to this present day the Blessed Mother continues to appear daily, but only has a monthly message with the intent to call us to holiness and personal conversion. When she appears, everyone receives her Motherly blessing and she prays with us and prays for all of our intentions.

SAMPLE DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY:
Day 1 | Wednesday June 19, 2013: Depart USA - Medjugorje
Board your overnight transatlantic flights from your home town. Meals are served on board.
Day 2 | Thursday June 20, 2013: Arrive Medjugorje
Early morning arrival in Europe where you will board your flights(s) to Dubrovnik, Split, or Sarajevo. Upon arrival you will find your luggage and exit the baggage claim into the arrivals hall where you will be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver. You will be escorted to the vehicle which will then take you on the 2 1/2 hour drive to the village of Medjugorje. Once there you will meet your fellow pilgrims and your spiritual leader. You will also be introduced to your host family in whose comfortable, yet modest inn you will be staying for the next seven nights. Enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring for the evening.
Days 3 to 8 | Friday to Wednesday June 21-26, 2013: Medjugorje
Experience the beauty and peace of this simple village. During your stay in Medjugorje you will have the opportunity to share faith with pilgrims from all over the world. Our local guide will accompany us throughout your stay.
Here are some of the activities you'll be sharing with our fellow pilgrims: Each morning at 10am we assemble at St. James Church for the English-language Mass (Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at Noon). Follow the path up Apparition Hill where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Touch and pray before the cross that commemorates the spot where Mary first appeared to the visionaries.
Each evening at 5pm or 6pm daylight savings time, we will join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary. The apparition takes place at 5:40pm or 6:40 daylight savings time, and then stay on for Croatian Mass. Don't miss on Tuesdays and Saturdays Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and on Fridays Veneration of the Cross in the Church. Each evening during Croatian Mass, there is the Blessing of the Sick and blessing of the items you have with you.
Our guide will arrange meetings with the visionaries at their own homes provided that they are in Medjugorje during your trip, and pending their availability. We will have the opportunity to climb Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a 30' high cross on the anniversary of Jesus' crucifixion. Visit and pray at "Blue Cross", which is a place of great healings and graces- a very special place at the base of Apparition Hill. We will also visit the community of Cenacolo.
Day 9 | Thursday June 27, 2013: Depart Medjugorje - USA
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we leave by motor coach for Dubrovnik Airport (Split or Sarajevo) for return flights home.
