Day 1 | Sunday, May 22: Depart home airport for Rome
Make your way to your local airport, where you will board your overnight flight. Meals will be served on overnight flight(s) only.
Day 2 | Monday, May 23: Arrive Rome - Subiaco
Welcome to Rome, also known as "The Eternal City." Upon landing at Rome airport, claim your baggage and proceed to the Arrivals Hall, where your tour guide and/or driver will greet you. From there, we will make our way to the Basilica of St. Mary Major to celebrate our first Mass. After Mass, we will make our way to St. Peter's Basilica where we will visit the tomb of St. John Paul II, and view Michelangelo's stunning marble structure, the Pieta. After having some time to walk around, we will board our bus and continue on to the Church of Gesu, followed by the visit the oldest of the four major Basilicas in Rome, the Archbasilica of St. John the Lateran, the Cathedral church and seat of the Bishop of Rome. From there, we head to the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem which houses the relics of the Passion of Jesus brought from Jerusalem to Rome by St. Helena. We will then continue to Subiaco for hotel check-in. Dinner and overnight in Subiaco.
Day 3 | Tuesday, May 24: Subiaco -San Giovanni Rotondo
Following breakfast, we will celebrate Mass. Following Mass, we will visit the Monastery of St. Benedict. The Monastery of St. Benedict in Subiaco enshrines the cave (Sacro Speco) in which St. Benedict lived as a hermit before he organized his first monastic community. Transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 4 | Wednesday, May 25: San Giovanni Rotondo-Assisi
We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a visit to the tomb of St. Pio where we will celebrate Mass. After Mass, tour the sanctuary, and view the crucifix, in front of which St. Pio received the stigmata. Visit the confessional from where St. Pio spent an innumerable amount of hours listening to confessions and visit his cell. Enjoy some free time - you may take this time for additional prayer, shop in the many gift shops, or enjoy a nice lunch. Then we continue to Assisi for hotel check in and overnight.
Day 5 | Thursday, May 26: Assisi
After breakfast, we will explore Assisi, where St. Francis began his ministry. As you visit the birthplace of St. Francis, you will become captivated as the atmosphere has not changed since St. Francis began his ministry in the early 13th-century. You will start a tour at the St. Francis Basilica, visit the tomb of St. Francis, and have the opportunity to view a series of frescoes depicting his life, along with a few of the saint's possessions. Followed by a visit to the Santuario Della Spogliazione where Blessed Carlo Acutis' tomb is placed. Carlo is the first millennial to be declared Blessed who loved the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. From there, you will continue on a walking tour through this picturesque town, including the birthplace of St. Francis, and end with a tour of the Church that honors St. Clare, the foundress of the Poor Clare Sisters. St. Clare followed the teachings of St. Francis very closely by also living a life of poverty and humility. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 | Friday, May 27: Assisi - Cascia- Loreto
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue to Cascia, upon arrival the group will tour the Basilica of St. Rita, the original holy monastery of St. Rita, her cell, and the miraculous grape vine. You will have free time for prayer, confession, touring, and visit to the monastery shop & specialty stores in Cascia. Adoration Chapel open daily in the lower Basilica. Memorable reconciliation area, open daily in the upper shrine. We will stop for lunch on your own. Following lunch we will visit Loreto where we will see the Holy House of Nazareth and the beautiful Madonna of Loreto. More than 50 Popes have made a pilgrimage to the house transported by angels to this hill in central Italy, in 1294. Tradition has it that this is the house in which Mary first prayed the Magnificat, in which Jesus grew to manhood and in which the Holy Family lived. Our day concludes with check-in, dinner and overnight in Loreto.
Day 7 | Saturday, May 28: Loreto - Ancona Airport- Dubrovnik
After breakfast at the hotel we will depart to Ancona airport for our flights to Dubrovnik.
Day 8 - 12 | Sunday- Thursday, May 29 - June 2: Medjugorje
Experience the beauty and peace of this simple village. During your stay in Medjugorje you will have the opportunity to share faith with pilgrims from all over the world. Our local guide will accompany us throughout your stay.
Attend Daily Mass: Each morning, at 10:00 A.M, your group will assemble at St. James Church for Mass (English-Speaking). At the end of each Mass, regardless of language, there is a blessing of the religious articles that you have with you.
On Feast Days and Sundays: English Mass is at Noon.
Apparitions: Each evening at 5:00 PM (or 6:00 PM depending on Daylight Savings Time), your group can join the villagers and fellow pilgrims of Medjugorje at either St James Church or Apparition Hill to commemorate the time Our Lady appears to the Visionaries. There you can pray the Rosary, as you all await that time (5:40 PM or 6:40 PM during Daylight Savings Time).
*Afterward, Croatian Mass is held at St. James Church and is free to all to attend. It is broadcasted by the radio, simultaneously in order to translate the services from Croatian into many languages. Following the Croatian Mass, there is a Blessing of the Sick.

You are invited to be present at Mirjana's apparition on the morning of June 2nd.
Climb Apparition Hill: This mountainous hill is where the visionaries had their first encounter with Our Lady. Also, at the base of this hill is a Blue Cross, where Our Lady allegedly appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the alleged apparitions. When climbing, your group is invited to recite the Rosary, pausing five times for each decade of the Rosary. At the top of the hill, you will witness the exact location of the first alleged apparition of Our Lady to the visionaries, and enjoy private time in prayer.
Climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain): In 1933, the villagers built a 30' high cross atop a mountain to commemorate Jesus' passion and death on the cross. Your group will have the opportunity to climb this mountain, and venerate that very cross. When climbing, your group is invited to pray the Stations of the Cross to meditate on Jesus' suffering Road to Calvary.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: The bronze statue of the Risen Christ is located on the grounds of St. James Church. Many pilgrims sit and pray on the benches surrounding this peaceful statue. This statue miraculously seeps droplets of water at all times of the day, out of Christ's right knee.

You will be invited to attend inspirational talks by the priests of St. James parish in Medjugorje.
Meetings will be arranged with the visionaries providing availability.
Day 13 | Friday, June 3: Medjugorje - USA
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we leave by motor coach to the airport for return flights home.
