Hello Eva, I am still processing all that I saw, felt and experience.

This pilgrimage was more rewarding then I could had imagined. Your instruction pamphlet prepared me for the journey.  Our guides, especially George In Israel was very knowledgeable. Oh Richard from the Catholic Standard was a hit.  He went beyond the call of duty to please each and everyone one of us.  Now Msgr Ray East there has always been a special place in my heart for him, he just go all out to explain each detail so that we could feel the spirituality of the subject matter.  I am looking forward to the next pilgrimage.  Thanks for the wonderful hotels, guides, information, and meals, I guess you get the point, I WAS PLEASED.

Eva and Laurie,

I just wanted to let you know that the Holy Land/Cairo pilgrimage with Monsignor East and Richard was outstanding. They were a great team. And the tour guide - George Said - was also great. I would highly recommend that you try to get him again for any Holy Land tours you plan. He was very knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure that we saw what we needed to see. He was very accommodating and he tried to meet our needs as much as he could. The fact the he is a Catholic guide was a very essential element that added to the tour's spirituality and focus. He and Monsignor East were extraordinary as they kept us on focus on why we traveled to the Holy Land.

Kudos to the planning that went behind this pilgrimage. The hotels in Jerusalem and Cairo were great. The ones in Tel Aviv and Nazareth were ok, acceptable at the least. A negative was the bus that was used for the Cairo portion - it was smaller and could not accommodate all the luggages, so some of the luggages were in the aisle of the bus, probably, 8 to 10 pieces. This delayed our getting in and out of the bus, because they had to be removed before anyone could get out of the bus.  Other than that, it was a fantastic trip and I've been recommending it to all my friends.

Thanks again,

Susan Kindle

I want to thank you for absolute perfect pilgrimage. My mother and I were unsure what to expect from this tour, but our lives are so much richer for it. Javier in Lourdes and Daphne in Paris were more than we could have asked for. Neither one was just a "tour guide" because they expressed so much love to us. We were shown so many privileges, such as Daphne making special arrangements at Nevers to have lunch at the Convent. That was so dear to my Mom and I.

The companies you partner with in France are exceptional. It is always a source of great concern in business when you have so much distance between the two companies to make certain your standards and beliefs are being upheld. May I be the one to express how beautifully these two tour companies represent 206tours. Please know that they are exceptional. I loved every moment on this trip. I have shared my experiences with so many friends, family members and co-workers and have encouraged them to take a tour with 206tours. They will be satisfied with their experiences.

The Spiritual Pilgrimage (206 Tours) we just had enriched our lives in many ways. We felt stronger faith in the Lord, an enlightenment of our whole being-spiritually & physically. Friendship developed with co-pilgrims so with sharing stories about the goodness of the Lord. More knowledge about beautiful, peaceful, holy places and the lives of our saints.

Summing up, the Pilgrimage was a total success. Thanks to our knowledgeable tour guides and careful tour bus drivers and to all in charged of the Pilgrimage. But most of all because of the good and effective spiritual guidance of Father Lipps. When our son learned about our experience, he wants to join us in our next pilgrimage.

 Dear Rinda,

My pilgrimage to the Holyland and  Shrines of Italy was my sixtieth birthday present from my family. I will remain eternally grateful to God for this gift which He caused to come through my husband and children.

I highly commend 206 Tours for their impeccable arrangements and attention to every detail. Our Tour guides Wally Hassen (Holyland) and Gaia (Italy) could not be more gracious. It is obvious that guiding pilgrims is not just a job but a mission for them. Their dedication and wealth of knowledge about the history and significance of the sites we visited  is very impressive.

In my opinion, pilgrimage is the best way to spend a meaningful vacation especially since every detail of such a  vacation is completely taken care of by an amazing  team such as 206 Tours. What a way to have a Rendez-vous with Our Lord, Our mother and our siblings- the saints!

I will spread the word around.

Hi Rinda,

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond, but I do want to share that I had an amazing experience on my pilgrimage. It was truly a life-changing trip and I believe I returned home with renewed fervor for my faith and a more peaceful heart. I have been reading about St. Bernadette and Lourdes since I was a little girl and I never really thought I would get to be there in person, it seemed like sort of a fairy-tale place from stories that you wouldn't actually ever be able to visit, so it was unbelievable to go there. Likewise, St. Therese is my favorite saint and I feel a very close relationship with her, so to be able to visit her hometown was really a dream come true for me and an unforgettable experience.

Now I can't wait to go on another pilgrimage and I'm already trying to rally my church young adult group to do some fundraising so that we can all go together next time! Being a pilgrim, rather than a tourist, is one of the best traveling experiences I've ever had. 206 was a great tour company and I am grateful for the itinerary and guides that were put together for us to help make our trip so enjoyable. Javier, in Lourdes, was exceptional and really made our experience the best it could be and I'm very grateful for his guidance during our stay there.

Thank you to everyone at 206 Tours for the wonderful experience, I will treasure the experiences, memories and the friendships I made always. God bless you all for the work you do.

Milanka,

I was thinking of you yesterday morning when your email arrived. To be honest, I was thinking about the great service you have rendered to Catholicism through the ministerial form of work you do. While I cannot make the claim that offering Catholic pilgrimages is a vocation like being a religious or Priest, it certainly ranks high in being able to incorporate your faith into your everyday life.

Ad Multos Annos!

Thanks for everything and know that, you remain in my thoughts and daily prayers.

It was such a great joy  to have  celebrated my 50th Birthday on this Spirit filled Pilgrimage. It was absolutely wonderful.
And even though  there were events which were beyond our control, our tour guide Miguel went over and above his call of duty. Similar to what his name implies, he was like St Michael safeguarding the pilgrims path. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, has quick wit and with good sense of humor. Juan is a skilled, calm, dependable driver. He was able to maneuver  on a busy narrow streets of the city, got us safely on our daily destinations. The ladies who did the city tour were great as well.
The hotels were ultra comfortable, convenient to the Shrine and Basilica. The food was delicious. Everything was excellent that I had the chance to reflect on my spiritual life.
Thanks for providing a cake for Anita and me. It was the best cake I ever tasted. And having been able to experience cutting a cake with a sword as a part a Spanish tradition made want to go back on my 100th birthday.
May God continue to Bless 206 tours crew and staff.

Hello Rinda

We had a wonderful blessed pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  The guide we had, (Jack) was extremely well prepared and the whole experience was more than we had hoped for.  Jack was well chosen for his spiritual as well as historical knowledge which he shared with us.  Doing it during Holy Week was also a very good time to do it.  We have recommended the experience and 206 Tours to others.  Keep up the good work.

Dear Milanka and Kristin,

We again had a fabulous time in Medjugorje and all went smoothly.  Ivan was a wonderful guide and I would highly recommend him!  He is a very gentle soul who greatly loves the Blessed Mother and our dear Lord and he has a tremendous knowledge of history.  He added so much to our pilgrimage!  We were all extremely happy with Ivan!

The home we stayed in was lovely too.  Everyone was very happy there.  Our rooms were wonderful!

The Graces flowed and flowed on the pilgrims and everyone went home overwhelmed!     One of the pilgrims told me this morning that she knows of six people already who said they are going to go next year!

I look forward to going back to Medjugorje next week!  Knowing I was going back so soon made it so much easier to leave!  I know the pilgrims for this coming pilgrimage are all very excited!

Thank you for all you work into making these pilgrimages be wonderful, grace-filled experiences!

Dear Rinda,

The pigrimage to the Holy Land was terrific, much more than my wife, Rita, and I were expecting.  I am a deacon and have studied and proclaimed the gospel for many years.  This trip brought a new life, a reality to these studies.

Our guide, Jack Halis, was superb, very knowledgeable of both scripture and political history.  His presence and enthusiasm was a large factor towards a most rewarding experience.

If I have any suggestion, it would be to allocte more time to the first part of the trip.  The area (Nazareth, Capernaum, Sea of Galilee, etc.) where Jesus spent the greatest amount of time in his earthly ministies.  This seemed a little rushed.  Maybe you could spend 3 nights in Nazareth and 4 nights in Jerusalem.

Even with this observation, the pilgrimage was an experience of a lifetime for both Rita and I.

Thank you and may God continue to bless your work.

I was so thrilled with the tour of Fatima and Lourdes and all the places in between.  Francisco Javier and Fr. Clancy were a perfect match and made this a truly spiritual experience.  I was spoiled.  Their spirituality was awesome.  All my flight connections went smoothly too.

The part that followed Fatima and Lourdes where I went to Rome was not as organized.   We were left alone at 2 p.m. and told Vincenzo Palego would see us for dinner at 7:30 p.m.  That was the last night.  I expected he stayed with us at dinner so he would get his tip.  I do realize his mother was in the hospital but we were expecting a tour of Rome and we all thought it was very disorganized there.  It would have helped if he at least shared some sights we could visit on our own.  Mary Ann, our day guide to the catacombs, was very knowledgeable.  We enjoyed that part of the trip.  Fr. Al Caprio knew a lot and helped us.  Having mass in all these historic places was awesome.  Thank You.

Rinda,

This was my first pilgrimage and what a magnificent journey it was!  The experience and memories I will forever cherish.  I felt a sense of peace and tranquility as my faith deepened.  This blessing for me would not have been possible without the many people I met along the way.

Javier, our tour director, was excellent and such a joy, to say the least.  He was very knowledgeable and so interesting; plus, a lot of fun!  He was always helpful; forever cheerfully willing to go “beyond his call of duty” making sure we pilgrims were content.  I am sure he would have like to have had five minutes to himself, but no, he was constantly “tending to his sheep”.  He is an awesome person, a delight and such a man of strong faith.

Father Clancy is a wonderful priest.  He was such an inspiration to me. Wish he were here in our Diocese of Joliet.

Lastly, the pilgrims in our group were terrific.  I liked the fact that we were a diverse group of different national backgrounds and ages where we all came together as a family getting to know one another and praying together.

In addition, the accommodations were very nice especially the Abba Hotels in Salamanca and Burgos.  The daily breakfasts and dinners were excellent and delicious – Great choices!

Again, this pilgrimage was truly a blessing for me.  I do hope in the future I have another opportunity to take a pilgrimage with 206 Tours.

Sincerely yours,

Ann Marie Paccasassi

Dear Kristin,

My wife and I would like to let you know that out recent trip to the Holy Land, led by our beloved Father Brian Mulcahy and Julie Zackrisson, was the best pilgrimage we have ever taken.  We both attribute this to the excellent Christian-Palestinian guide that we were blessed to be assigned with, Mr. Jack Halis, of Jerusalem.  In addition to enabling Fr. Brian to hold mass everyday at a different important religious site, Jack had opened our eyes to look deeper into many daily aspects of lives in that region of the world.  Please extend our appreciation to him and his partner driver, Omar.

Dear Rinda,

The pilgrimage went very well.
I would like to commend Javier for his great faith and the great job he did in the Lourdes part of the pilgrimage.   I witnessed how he went out of his way to assist the pilgrims.

Catherine Daphany did an excellent job on the Paris portion.  She made an individual schedule for each room which was helpful as she put on her contact cell phone number.  At a moment's notice she was able to arrange for us a tour of Paris by night which allowed us to see the Church of the Sacred Heart as well as the Eiffel Tower with all of its lights.  She went out of her way to see the pilgrims on their flight home.

I remembered you intentions at Lourdes. Thanks for everything you did to make their pilgrimage go so well.
Your choice of Pilgrimage leaders are people of faith and quality people.
May you have a Blessed Easter!

Thanks, Anne

Dear Milanka and Kristin,

We got back home late last night after a very long flight home from the Holy Land!  Other than being exhausted, we all had a wonderful time!  God was so good and He constantly poured out His blessings on our little group!  We could not have asked for more from this pilgrimage!

I do want you to know that 206 did a fantastic job for us and everyone would agree!  Our guide, Jack, was a beautiful, faith-filled man, who lives the Catholic faith in all his actions.  And, he is so full of knowledge that he just wants to share with everyone.  He was a blessing to us and we all felt like we were leaving a part of our family when we left him.  His calling is more of a vocation than a job.  We will all keep him and his family in our prayers.

Our bus driver, Omar, was great too!  We felt like he too was part of our family.  We were so blessed with our guide and driver.

The lodging was wonderful too!  We were very happy to have been staying in Bethlehem when we did--in spite of the protests going on around us.  It was an eye-opener to say the least!  We grieve for the plight of the Palestinian Christians.

We did choose to not go to the second stop on Carmel and to only go to Stella Maris.  I do believe that you should do that with all the groups going over there, otherwise it is just too much too fast.  That is only a suggestion.  I think it is far more important to be able to have time at each holy Shrine.  Also, we did eliminate Caesarea Philippi for the same reason.  I realized that morning after a quick stop at the Mount of Beatitudes that it was going to be a very fast-paced day rather than the one I was hoping for, so I first asked Jack if we could eliminate Caesarea Philippi, then I asked the group.  Everyone agreed they would rather have time at each stop, so we made a group decision to eliminate Caesarea Philippi.  I had looked forward to going there, since I had never been there, but I would never have wanted our day around Galilee to have been so fast-paced.  It was a beautiful day and everyone said over and over again they were so happy with how the day went.

Our group was wonderful!  Everyone just wanted the pilgrimage to be as beautiful as it could possibly be--and it was!   I do thank you so much for all your effort in putting together a beautiful pilgrimage.

And, Kristin, thank you so much for getting Melinda Knight and Sister Joyce Candidi over to us in such a timely fashion.  They so appreciated all you did for them--and we did too.  Our hearts were heavy until they were with us!

          God bless you!

                              Love,

                                 Julie

Hi Milanka!

May God continue to bless you and your staff (special mention to Sandra and Liz for their patience and understanding and for doing a good job, and also to Kristin, who assisted us also during the first phase of planning/organizing our trip).

We are looking forward to organizing another pilgrimage with 206 Tours in the future, by God's grace.

We wish 206 Tours continued success.

God bless.

Carmelita, Chiqui and Olivia

P.S.:  also appreciated "Gabriel."  His message about "love and peace" in Israel surely touched many hearts.

Hi Rinda,

I just want to let you know that we truly enjoyed our pilgrimage to Israel. The food, hotel accommodations, the guide, & our  fellow pilgrims were terrific. Our spiritual director, Father Ed Serena, was absolutely divine

We are looking forward to joining another 206 pilgrimages in the future

P.S. Please let us know which pilgrimage  Father Serena would be assigned so we'll get a chance to join him again in the near future.

Thanks again...Angelita Garcia

Dear Rinda –
-My wife and I just returned from the Holy Land pilgrimage and felt it was one of the best trips we could ever have taken.  Our escort, Rimon, did an outstanding job of making the Holy Land come alive for our group, and we learned so much from him.  His passion for the Holy Land and his Catholic faith were inspiring to all of us.   Our driver,
Joe, was exceptional in maneuvering us safely around!  Since returning, I have found myself answering many questions from friends and co-workers, giving me an opportunity to encourage others to someday make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land themselves.  I would certainly recommend 206 Tours as an outstanding choice to tour through.

Thank you very much!
