Eva
and Laurie,
I
just wanted to let you
know that the Holy
Land/Cairo pilgrimage
with Monsignor East and
Richard was outstanding.
They were a great team.
And the tour guide -
George Said - was also
great. I would highly
recommend that you try
to get him again for any
Holy Land tours you
plan. He was very
knowledgeable, and went
out of his way to make
sure that we saw what we
needed to see. He was
very accommodating and
he tried to meet our
needs as much as he
could. The fact the he
is a Catholic guide was
a very essential element
that added to the tour's
spirituality and focus.
He and Monsignor East
were extraordinary as
they kept us on focus on
why we traveled to the
Holy Land.
Kudos to the planning
that went behind this
pilgrimage. The hotels
in Jerusalem and Cairo
were great. The ones in
Tel Aviv and Nazareth
were ok, acceptable at
the least. A negative
was the bus that was
used for the Cairo
portion - it was smaller
and could not
accommodate all the
luggages, so some of the
luggages were in the
aisle of the bus,
probably, 8 to 10
pieces. This delayed our
getting in and out of
the bus, because they
had to be removed before
anyone could get out of
the bus. Other than
that, it was a fantastic
trip and I've been
recommending it to all
my friends.
Thanks again,

I want to thank you for absolute perfect pilgrimage. My mother
and I were unsure what
to expect from this

so much richer for it.
Javier in Lourdes and
Daphne in Paris were
more than we could have
asked for. Neither one
was just a "tour guide"
because they expressed
so much love to us. We
were shown so many
privileges, such as
Daphne making special

The companies you partner with in France are exceptional. It is
always a source of great

I do want to share that
I had an amazing
experience on my

a life-changing trip and
I believe I returned

for my faith and a more
peaceful heart. I have
been reading about St.
Bernadette and Lourdes
since I was a little

thought I would get to
be there in person, it
seemed like sort of a
fairy-tale place from
stories that you
wouldn't actually ever

was unbelievable to go
there. Likewise, St.

unforgettable
experience.
Now I can't wait to go

I've ever had. 206 was a
great tour company and I
am grateful for the

Dear Rinda,
The pigrimage to the Holy Land was terrific,
much more than my wife,
Rita, and I were
expecting. I am a
deacon and have studied
and proclaimed the
gospel for many years.
This trip brought a new
life, a reality to these
studies.
Our guide, Jack Halis, was superb, very
knowledgeable of both
scripture and political
history. His presence
and enthusiasm was a
large factor towards a
most rewarding
experience.
If I have any suggestion, it would be to allocte
more time to the first
part of the trip. The
area (Nazareth,
Capernaum, Sea of
Galilee, etc.) where
Jesus spent the greatest
amount of time in his
earthly ministies. This
seemed a little rushed.
Maybe you could spend 3
nights in Nazareth and 4
nights in Jerusalem.
Even with this observation, the pilgrimage was
an experience of a
lifetime for both Rita
and I.
Thank you and may God continue to bless your
work.
Our pilgrimage to
Lourdes and Fatima was
wonderful thankfully
because of the
kindhearted, wonderful
Jesus . He was an
absolute blessing. He
not only had to be our
guide but had the
awesome responsibility

through not very good

Francisco Javier and Fr.

The part that followed
Fatima and Lourdes where
I went to Rome was not
as organized. We
were left alone at 2

That was the last
night. I expected he
stayed with us at dinner
so he would get his

mother was in the
hospital but we were
expecting a tour of Rome
and we all thought it
was very disorganized
there. It would have
helped if he at least
shared some sights we

performance.
We have only received
positive feed back from
everyone who attended
this pilgrimage.
Father would like to
thank Elias for being a
very helpful and
understanding tour
guide.
Thanks for all your help

We made it home last night and had a blessed and wonderful time on
our trip. We just loved Javier.
It was really great to pray in Fatima and Lourdes and St Anthonys
Santerem and Avila and
Salamanca
was so beautiful! Thanks for helping Fr Clancy and I take this trip
and making it all
possible.
I think that the people that went with us were truly blessed and
experienced the grace of
going to the holy places. I just love pilgrimages and believe in
them wholeheartedly in
promoting the Faith….

Pilgrimage
Kristin: The trip to
the Holy Land was
great. Julie was a
great tour guide and
Brother Brian did a
wonderful job. It
really was a trip of a
lifetime as my
father-in-law Charlie
Dower kept saying.
Thanks, Anne
Dear
Milanka and Kristin,
We got back home
late last night after a
very long flight home
from the Holy Land!
Other than being
exhausted, we all had a
wonderful time! God was
so good and He
constantly poured out
His blessings on our
little group! We could
not have asked for more
from this pilgrimage!
I do want you to
know that 206 did a
fantastic job for us and
everyone would agree!
Our guide, Jack, was a
beautiful, faith-filled
man, who lives the
Catholic faith in all
his actions. And, he is
so full of knowledge
that he just wants to
share with everyone. He
was a blessing to us and
we all felt like we were
leaving a part of our
family when we left
him. His calling is
more of a vocation than
a job. We will all keep
him and his family in
our prayers.
Our bus driver,
Omar, was great too! We
felt like he too was
part of our family. We
were so blessed with our
guide and driver.
The lodging was
wonderful too! We were
very happy to have been
staying in Bethlehem
when we did--in spite of
the protests going on
around us. It was an
eye-opener to say the
least! We grieve for
the plight of the
Palestinian Christians.
We did choose to
not go to the second
stop on Carmel and to
only go to Stella
Maris. I do believe
that you should do that
with all the groups
going over there,
otherwise it is just too
much too fast. That is
only a suggestion. I
think it is far more
important to be able to
have time at each holy
Shrine. Also, we did
eliminate Caesarea
Philippi for the same
reason. I realized that
morning after a quick
stop at the Mount of
Beatitudes that it was
going to be a very
fast-paced day rather
than the one I was
hoping for, so I first
asked Jack if we could
eliminate Caesarea
Philippi, then I asked
the group. Everyone
agreed they would rather
have time at each stop,
so we made a group
decision to eliminate
Caesarea Philippi. I
had looked forward to
going there, since I had
never been there, but I
would never have wanted
our day around Galilee
to have been so
fast-paced. It was a
beautiful day and
everyone said over and
over again they were so
happy with how the day
went.
Our group was
wonderful! Everyone
just wanted the
pilgrimage to be as
beautiful as it could
possibly be--and it
was! I do thank you so
much for all your effort
in putting together a
beautiful pilgrimage.
And, Kristin,
thank you so much for
getting Melinda Knight
and Sister Joyce Candidi
over to us in such a
timely fashion. They so
appreciated all you did
for them--and we did
too. Our hearts were
heavy until they were
with us!
May God continue to bless you and your staff (special mention to
Sandra and Liz for their
patience and
understanding and for
doing a good job, and
also to Kristin, who
assisted us also
during the first phase
of planning/organizing
our trip).
We are looking forward to organizing another pilgrimage with 206
Tours in the future, by
God's grace.
We wish 206 Tours continued success.
God bless.

P.S.: also appreciated "Gabriel." His message about "love and
peace" in Israel surely
touched many hearts.

Dear Rinda –
-My wife and I just
returned from the Holy
Land pilgrimage and felt
it was one of the best
trips we could ever have
taken. Our escort,
Rimon, did an
outstanding job of
making the Holy Land
come alive for our
group, and we learned so
much from him. His
passion for the Holy
Land and his Catholic
faith were inspiring to
all of us. Our driver,
Joe, was exceptional in
maneuvering us safely
around! Since
returning, I have found
myself answering many
questions from friends
and co-workers, giving
me an opportunity to
encourage others to
someday make a
pilgrimage to the Holy
Land themselves. I
would certainly
recommend 206 Tours as
an outstanding choice to
tour through.
Thank you very much!
