Fr. Reese is a priest of the Diocese of Rockford IL, currently serving the people of Holy Family Parish in Rockford. He has experience with many ministries from working with the youth to the home bound. Always happy to hear confessions or offer spiritual advice, he has a true concern for the people around him. He has visited the Holy land as well as western Europe.

Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1, Monday, Depart from O’Hare International Airport on our overnight flight to Munich, Germany
Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.
Day 2, Tuesday, April 9: Arrive in Munich
Upon arrival in Munich Airport, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel. Welcome dinner and overnight.
Day 3, Wednesday, April 10: Munich – Garmisch – Ettal – Oberammergau – Munich
We’ll travel to Garmisch, where we will take a walking tour. Afterward, we’ll continue to the village of Ettal where we will see the Benedictine Monastery, Ettal Abbey (outside view). Proceed to Oberammergau, famous for the passion play performed there every 10 years. Enjoy a ride with the nostalgic Laber ropeway in Oberammergau to Laber Mountain. The Laber Mountains does not belong to the highest peaks of the Bavarian Alps, but it offers one of the most tremendous views. See the foothills of the alps with its many lakes and Munich farther to the north. The Ester-Gebirge mountain range with its summits, Wank, Fricken and Krottenkopf, Wetterstein Mountain Range and the Ammergau Alps. Afterward, enjoy an optional coffee and cake at a mountain restaurant and some time for shopping. Return to Munich for dinner and overnight.
Day 4, Thursday, April 11: Munich – Altötting – Marktl Am Inn – Munich
We’ll travel to Altotting, a small town famous for the Gnadenkapelle (Chapel of Grace), one of the most-visited Shrines in Germany. Then, visit the Marktl Am Inn, the birthplace of our Pope Benedict XVI. After time on your own, return to Munich for the rest of your day at leisure.
Day 5, Friday, April 12: Munich – Regensburg – Munich
We’ll enjoy a day trip in Bavaria to the 2,000 year old city of Regensburg along the Danube River. Amidst a medieval landscape founded by Marcus Aurelius, we visit the home of Germany’s most impressive gothic Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. Peter and celebrate Mass. We’ll have time to explore the ancient city with its many walkways and stone bridges. In the afternoon we return to Munich where we’ll visit the Asamkirche, one of the most richly decorated Rococo Churches in the world. A relatively small Church, it is named for its two builders, the brothers Cosmas and Egid Asam. The skeleton of the Saint for which the Church is formally named St. Johannus Nepomuk, is enShrined there. Enjoy our dinner and overnight.

Day 6, Saturday, April 13: Munich – Prague
We will leave Munich behind and proceed to Prague for dinner at the local restaurant and overnight.
Day 7, Sunday, April 14: Prague
Today, we’ll cross the Vltava River to visit the Royal Castle of Hradcany with the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower. Continue to the Church of Our Lady to see the charming statue of the child Jesus. Balance of day at leisure. Dinner with folklore this evening.
Day 8, Monday, April 15: Prague – Brno – Krakow
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a transfer to Brno, the second biggest city in Czech Republic. Upon arrival , enjoy walking sightseeing tour of Brno, the administrative and cultural capital of the South Moravian Province; located within a diversified terrain at the confluence of the Svratka and the Svitava Rivers. continue to Krakow. dinner with folklore performance and overnight.
Day 9, Tuesday, April 16: Krakow – Wadowice – Krakow
This morning we’ll travel to Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, formally known as Pope John Paul II, where we will visit the museum located in his family’s house. We’ll continue to Lagiewniki, the capital of the Divine Mercy. It was here that the message of the Divine Mercy originated, which Christ Himself wished to pass on to our generation through the mediation of St. Faustina. The Sanctuary houses grace-working image of the Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. As we visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy we will see St. Faustina's convent Chapel and her Tomb. We visit the newly constructed Shrine of Divinity dedicated by Pope John Paul II on his last visit to Poland in 2002. We celebrate Mass at the Shrine before we visit the new center "Have no Fear" where we pray by the relic of Blessed Pope John Paul II. We have time to pray and reflect before returning to our hotel for dinner.
Day 10, Wednesday, April 17: Krakow – Auschwitz – Czestochowa – Krakow
This morning we’ll attend Mass at the Pauline Monastery (subject to availability). We’ll later travel to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration camp, where unspeakable atrocities occurred. We will see the cell that imprisoned St. Maximillian Kolbe and the Martyrdom Museum recalling the horrors of the Holocaust. We’ll continue to one of the world’s most famous Shrines, our Lady of Czestochowa, within the Jasna Gora Monastery, highlighting the religious, historic and artistic values of Poland, Jasna Gora is frequented by pilgrims from all over the world, owning to its sheer structural majesty and its prized historical possessions. Enter the oldest building, the Gothic Cathedral of our Lady, where you’ll encounter the Shrine’s most prized belonging, The Sacred Icon of the Black Madonna. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
Day 11, Thursday, April 18: Krakow – Zakopane – Krakow
Today we’ll enjoy a full day’s excursion to Zakopane, the capital of the Polish Tatra mountains and the center of Polish mountain tourism. Your visit will include a funicular ride to the Gobalowka Hill. Dinner and overnight in Krakow
Day 12, Friday, April 19: Depart Krakow – Chicago
We’ll depart for the airport and our return flights home with memories for a lifetime.
