This tour of Classic Italy begins in scenic Venice and takes you to cultural hubs like Florence and Rome. In Rome, go into the four Major Basilicas, stare out into the Square from the steps of St. Peter’s Basilica, visit historical landmarks of Rome, and have the unique opportunity to attend a Papal Audience with his successor. Continue to experience Italian cultures in cities like Orvieto and Padua and even visit the hometown of St. Francis of Assisi.

Apart from the endless beauty, the Amalfi Coast is world-famous for its culture, food, wine, Churches, and views from the rolling hills along the coastline. Be introduced to the life of St. Philomena, the Wonder Worker, who proclaimed “Stand firm under the protection of Mary!” While being a famous spot visited by thousands every year, it maintains a quaint, and cozy feeling that will immerse you in the “Vita Bella.”

Following the tour, there will be an opportunity to visit the gift shop, before we board the bus to Mugnano del Cardinale for a visit of the Shrine of Saint Philomena. When her remains were brought to the village church at Mugnano from Rome, graces, favors and miracles began to occur among the village people. Miracles continued to occur year after year and in 1837, Philomena was elevated to Sainthood.
