DAY 1 | JUNE 16, 2013 (Sunday)
Board your overnight transatlantic flight from your hometown to Ireland. Dinner and breakfast served on board.
DAY 2 | JUNE 17, 2013 (Monday)
Your flight that left the U.S.A. on June 16th will arrive at the Dublin, Ireland airport, where you’ll be greeted by your tour leader and driven to a City Center hotel for a 3-night stay. Later, Fr. Coughlin will co-celebrate the 3:00 p.m. Mass at the Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church, which has one of the country’s finest organs. Before leaving, you’ll visit the Shrines of Our Lady of Dublin and St. Albert of Sicily, where at the latter you can obtain water that is said to have healing powers. You will also view relics of St. Valentine given to that Church by the Holy See.
DAY 3 | JUNE 18, 2013 (Tuesday)
You’ll first travel to the Church of St. Peter in Drogheda to visit the National Shrine to Oliver Plunkett, an Irish saint who was the last Roman Catholic martyr to be put to death in England. After attending the 10:30 a.m. Mass there, you’ll return to Dublin to view the 500 or so major works by such famous artists as Picasso, Monet, and Rubens at the National Gallery of Ireland, as well as the beautifully illustrated Book of Kells and other Irish treasures at historic Trinity College. You can then either return to your room or continue exploring Dublin sites on your own, such as the city’s famous Temple Bar area, before walking or taking a taxi back to your hotel for dinner.
DAY 4 | JUNE 19, 2013 (Wednesday)
After Mass is celebrated by Fr. Coughlin, you’ll embark on a day of sightseeing by visiting St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the largest Church in Ireland; Dublin Castle with its large tower, elegant staterooms, and beautiful gardens; and the Guinness Storehouse, home of the Guinness brewery. You might also have enough time to make a stop at Our Lady of Lourdes Church to view the remains of the Venerable Matt Talbot, who became very pious after he gave up alcohol and tobacco. A delicious supper and an enchanting show featuring Irish music and storytelling are in store for you that night at “An Evening of Food, Folklore and Fairies” dinner theatre.
DAY 5 | JUNE 20, 2013 (Thursday)
You will leave Dublin today and view the scenic Irish countryside while riding to the Shrine at Knock, the village where townspeople witnessed an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, a cross and lamb representing Jesus on an altar, and adoring angels in 1879. Fr. Coughlin will celebrate your daily Mass there, and if time allows, you’ll then visit the beautiful coast of Clew Bay before checking into a Westport hotel for the night.
DAY 6 | JUNE 21, 2013 (Friday)
First on the agenda is a visit to Mt. Croagh Patrick, where St. Patrick supposedly banished all of the snakes and demons from Ireland. You’ll then ride south to tour Ballintubber Abbey, the only Church in Ireland still in daily use that was founded by an Irish king. You may also have time to travel along one or more of the large lakes between Ballintubber and Galway before your next stop at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, which rise sharply over 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and provide a haven for birds. Finally, you’ll check into a Bunratty hotel and attend the Mass that Fr. Coughlin will celebrate.
DAY 7 | JUNE 22, 2013 (Saturday)
You’ll first visit Bunratty Castle and the adjacent folk park that provides visitors with a glimpse of 19th century Irish life. You will then travel to the Church of St. Augustine in Limerick, where Fr. Coughlin will celebrate Mass and you’ll view the Shrine of St. Nicholas of Tolentine, whom the Catholic Church credits with performing about 300 miracles. You’ll also take a walking tour of other Limerick Churches in the area before riding to a Killarney hotel for a one-night stay.
DAY 8 | JUNE 23, 2013 (Sunday)
Your morning activities will begin with the 9:30 a.m. Mass at the Church of the Resurrection. Your final destination will be the city of Cork, where you’ll check into a hotel for two nights.

Your daily Mass will be co-celebrated by Fr. Coughlin at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church. You’ll also be given time to shop in the nearby Blarney Woolen Mills and to explore Cork’s English Market, famous for its local and imported foods, before returning to your hotel.
DAY 10 | JUNE 25, 2013 (Tuesday)
After Fr. Coughlin celebrates Mass, you’ll ride northeast from Cork to visit the Rock of Cashel, home to the ruins of a great Celtic Cathedral and to frescoes in Cormac's Chapel which are Ireland’s oldest Romanesque wall paintings.
